More Fun With Grandy and Poppy

The weather was beautiful this past weekend, so we took advantage of the milder temperatures and spent a lot of time outdoors. We went to Huntingtowne Farms Park on our way to dinner on Saturday night.

We had more outdoor time again on Sunday... except we stayed in the back yard and played on the play set. My dad actually got to see Caroline play on it! The last time he was here, he had to leave the next day after spending all that time putting it together. Ben and my Dad must have played with Caroline for an hour just throwing the ball through the tunnel of the play set and then down the slide.

We had a great time with you, Poppy and Grandy! On Monday morning when Caroline realized that Grandy and Poppy were gone, she was noticeably sad. She said, "I miss my grandmother!" I think she got the term "grandmother" from one of her favorite books. It's so funny to hear her say such a grown up word! She also talked about Poppy throughout the day. She will get to see her other grandmother and Papa, and also Uncle David, Aunt Wendy, and Eva this weekend when we visit Polk County, Tennessee for the annual family reunion.
