Building with Poppy and Daddy

Every Saturday morning, Ben and Caroline have some father daughter time. Ben takes Caroline either to story time, the park, or to Lowe's for the project that they do with kids. They provide all of the materials and give you the directions and then you are on your own. The child even earns little patches that can be sewn on their work aprons. So cute!

This past Saturday, we all went to Lowe's and watched Caroline, Ben, and my dad build a little truck. OK, so my dad and Ben did all of the work and Caroline "helped", but it was still a great learning experience for her. She loves to help build things, and is getting quite a collection of toys she has built at Lowe's. Building is not just for boys- there were several little girls there too!
